DIY Summer Frozen Dog Treats

Slow feeders are not only great for keeping your dog occupied during hot weather, but they can also provide an excellent source of enrichment. The best part is that you don't need to be a master chef to create healthy and tasty treats for your furry friend. All you need are a few simple ingredients from your fridge and pantry, and you're good to go! Here are three easy DIY summer dog treat recipes to get you started.

Strawberry, Blueberry & Yogurt Frozen Dog Treats

For this frozen dog treat, you will need only 1-2 strawberries, a small handful of blueberries, 1-3 spoonfuls of plain Greek yogurt, a blender and your DOGUE Slow Feeder Dog Puzzle.

Step 1: Blend the ingredients together 

Step 2: Spread the mixture over your slow feeder

Step 3: Freeze for 2-3 hours and indulge your pooch!

Peanut Butter & Banana Frozen Dog Treats

These frozen dog treats with peanut butter and banana are perfect for hot days! With only three ingredients they are easy to make and full of nutrients. You will only need half a mashed banana, 1-3 spoonfuls of plain Greek yogurt, a spoonful of peanut butter (no xylitol), a blender and your DOGUE Slow Feeder Dog Puzzle.
