What a turn out we had for DOGUE Coverdog! Mutts from all over Sydney gathered to strut their stuff, show-off their latest fashions and get up close and personal with the camera in the hopes of claiming the coveted prize of DOGUE Coverdog. We had dogs big and small, fluffy and wrinkly, and even a Pomeranian in a full tuxedo! I'm just glad I was only a four-legged spectator, because judging this bunch would have been an impossible task...they were all fabulous! For sneak peek, check out THIS VIDEO by Two Guinea Pigs Pet Photography!
With tons of entrants joining in on the festivities and over $1000 raised for Sydney Dogs and Cats Home and Animal Welfare League, I would say this day was a success of couture proportions! So without further adieu, get your woofs ready, the winners are...

First place goes to Gwen, an adorable pint-sized Miniature Pomeranian who captured the hearts of everyone she met. Gwen showed us she was runway ready, had manners that could rival the Queen and could handle any model situation with ease and grace. Gwen has won over $350 worth of DOGUE & other great prizes including a photo session with Two Guinea Pigs Pet Photography and agility session with Might Woof, and best of all the notoriety associated with being a DOGUE Coverdog! Congratulations Gwen!

Second place goes to Henry the Cavalier Terrier Cross who proved to us that even the boys have top model potential! He nailed his signature pose and even sang in the talent competition, now that is the whole package. Henry has won $150 worth of DOGUE & other great prizes to keep him spotlight ready at all times!

For the Third place ribbon we had the eye-catching natural beauty, Timmy the Cavalier Papillon Cross! Timmy knew a thing or two about working the room and staying humble in his apparent beauty, these top model traits have won him $75 worth of DOGUE & other great prizes!
But that's not all! A very special honorable mention goes to Pepe, who knows what it means to be a K9 Good Samaritan. Pepe spends her days campaigning for dog friendly areas on the Northern Beaches and we hope her efforts pay off soon so we can all thank her for all her hard work!
That wraps up this years search for the next DOGUE Coverdog! A big thanks goes out to our sponsors Vets @ Woollahra, Two Guinea Pigs Pet Photography (who took all these lovely photos!) and Mighty Woof Dog Training as well as our lovely donators Jollie Gormet Treats, Wellbeing for Dogs, Sparkle Cupcakery, Pets First Choice and Fit ‘n' Flash dog treats!
Lastly, bravo to all my furry friends who entered, donated and participated this year. You have all made it an event to really bark about!
Woof and Wags,
Gulliver
