Meet our CEO Margaret Hennessy

Margaret is truly passionate about dogs and the future of DOGUE! Margaret is a hands-on (or should we say paws-on) CEO who is excited every day by the opportunities for the business. Offering support throughout the entire franchisee journey you will first meet Margaret in the face-to-face interview. She will offer guidance from site fit out, through to launch and will be with you as your boutique & spa grows.
Margaret’s right-hand woman is the gorgeous Coco-NUT. “The best thing about Coco-NUT is her deep brown eyes that look at you with understanding and patience…at 15 she still loves life! She is fantastic in the home office (not so much in the workplace) – helping with everything from daily operational tasks to high level strategy.”
Margaret has learnt that owning a dog is more like co-habiting! And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Meet our Business Manager Adrian Tucker
V.I.P: Lemmy (Retreat Tour Guide & Working Diva)
Franchisee Support: Choosing the right location and developing your business
Adrian was introduced to the world of dogs when he married Margaret and has since become actively involved in running DOGUE. With over 20 years’ experience working in the finance industry Adrian defines the right locations for DOGUE sites and offers ongoing finance support, from assisting with your targets to helping you run your business efficiently.
A more recent addition to Adrian's family is Lemmy the Lab x Kelpie x Collie! Over the last 2 years she has taught Adrian many things! “Lemmy has taught me patience - getting angry doesn’t work… the majority of the time! But most importantly she has made me realise that no-one is perfect, and that everyone needs to be treated and managed differently in order to get the best out of them.”
Adrian is excited by the opportunities in the pet industry and sees DOGUE as the perfect vehicle to excel in our niche in the premium dog retail and service industry.
Meet our Store Operations Manager Victoria Brown
V.I.P: Banjo (Head Security Barker & Product Tester)
Franchisee Support: Ongoing Boutique & Spa Operations, products and training
With a diverse background in retail management, training and animal behaviour, Victoria landed her dream job at DOGUE in late 2016 combining her passion for dogs and natural skill set.
As the key contact for all stores, Victoria is your trainer, product front-runner and operational queen! She will assist with boutique set up, teach you how to deliver DOGUE’s exceptional customer service program to all customers and will keep your boutique on trend with exciting new products. Victoria is critical to keeping our network bustling along and is always aiming to exceed expectations.
Victoria is owned by a mini Dachshund called Banjo who plays a huge role in her life and loves testing out new products at DOGUE. “Apart from being the centre of my universe – I’m well and truly wrapped around his little paws; Banjo teaches me unconditional love, undivided attention, and unstoppable fun. He always brings a smile to my day and reminds me to be kind to myself.”
Meet our Brand & Marketing Manager Shauna Perry
V.I.P: Otis (Barketing Coordinator)
Franchisee Support: National and local area marketing
Shauna has over 11 years’ experience creating integrated marketing strategies, that have a strong focus on digital, social media, web and brand. Passionate about helping franchisees deliver on their strategic goals, she always ensures she is on hand to offer expert advice and direction on all things marketing. Shauna assists franchisees with their local area marketing plans to take the customer experience to the next level.
Shauna is the very proud ‘paw-rent’ to her mini Groodle, Otis. “Otis plays a huge part in my life. My entire lifestyle has been adapted around him. He is my constant companion and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He is always smiling so - his infectious fun-loving personality puts me in the best mood.”

Amelia’s journey at DOGUE started six years ago and over this time she has gained significant insight into the DOGUE group, brand identity, and service offering. While Amelia currently manages franchise development strategy and strategic partnerships, her main area of support for franchisees is design. Always aiming to bring a fresh and playful look and feel to the DOGUE brand identity - from boutique decals and fit out through to brochures and advertising, Amelia will develop your concept and bring it to life.
Amelia’s senior man Diesel is a regular contributor to our clubDOGUE
and is always found sporting the latest in accessories. “Diesel has taught me to be open to new experiences and approach them paw-sitively. He inspires me to always make each day matter by doing something i care about!”
Meet our Finance Manager Lila Micevska
V.I.P: Rocco (Keeper Of The Books)
Franchisee Support: Maximising store productivity and mentoring
Lila has extensive experience in finance, accounting and retail. Lila supports franchisees in producing insightful data, driving processes and maximising the productivity of your boutique & spa. Lila is also a very keen mentor and coach and is always available to give extra support and encouragement to all members of the DOGUE family.
Lila is the super proud big sister of her very handsome Pomeranian x Maltese little brother Rocco. “Rocco is the sweetest and most gentle little pooch. He has the best personality! He is curious, fun and loves his cuddle time with everyone he meets.”
Meet our Recruitment & Resources Manager Kate
V.I.Ps: Archie & Tom (Chief Morale Officer & Wing Man)
Franchisee Support: Franchise enquiries and human resources
Kate’s experience spans over Business Management, Operations and Human Resources in the fashion, beauty & wellness industries, particularly in franchising. Kate is the friendly voice you speak to when you first enquire about owning your very own DOGUE and she will be there every paw-step of the way guiding you through the process. Kate also supports franchisees in Human Resources initial enquiries – from recruitment through to training and development.
With a borderline unhealthy obsession with our four-legged friends, Kate is the proud mum of Schnoodles Archie and Tom. “Archie and Tom are my fur children and I work hard so I can provide a better lifestyle for them! They are the greatest of companions and go almost everywhere with me. They come along on all of my adventures and I couldn’t imagine doing life without them!”
