A Neck: Measure around the neck where a collar would naturally sit. You should be able to fit two fingers underneath comfortably.
B Chest: the widest part of the dog's chest usually just behind the elbows. Measure around the chest and take it at the widest point.
C Length: Measure from the base of the dog's neck to the base of the tail. Measure along the back from those two points.
